Cala Codolar

Located in the small town of Sant Josep De Sa Talaia on the island of Ibiza, Codolar Beach is a small, narrow, and beige-colored beach situated on the southwestern shore of the Spanish island of Ibiza.  Also known as Playa es Codolar, Codolar Beach is surrounded by large rocks, sand dunes, and coves making it a secluded spot.  Codolar Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag designation for its cleanliness.

Codolar Beach offers many amenities including lifeguards, restrooms, showers, and watersports equipment rentals.

There are many fun activities at Codolar Beach including swimming, scuba diving, boating, jet-skiing, sunbathing, and beach walking.  If you are looking for additional activities, the beach also features catamaran excursions with glass-floored catamarans so that you can view the seabed.  Visitors can also go on a six-hour long tour to Ibicenca Coast during which you can jump into the sea as well.

Codolar Beach has a wooden walkway that extends to the shore and also features handicap accessible ramps.

Getting to Codolar Beach is very easy – there is a free parking lot that has 30 parking spaces, is located at Carrer de Porroig 2, 14, 07839 Sant Josep de sa Talaia, and is within walking distance to the beach.

Codolar Beach is situated on the east side of a small fishing village which is believed to be one of the oldest settlements on the island of Ibiza.  This fishing village is a UNESCO World Heritage site and was established by the Phoenicians in the 8th Century BCE.
