If you are looking for a hotel near No Surf Beach, there are many great nearby options. The 4-Star Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina offers numerous amenities including a restaurant, a bar, three outdoor pools, a hot tub, watersports rental facility, and a fitness center. A more affordable hotel is the 3-Star Holiday Inn San Diego - Bayside offers many amenities including a restaurant, a bar, complimentary bicycles, a pool, a hot tub, fitness center, mini golf, and table tennis. If you are looking for another good and affordable hotel near No Surf Beach, the modestly priced 2- Star Hotel Point Loma offers many amenities including complimentary coffee and tea served in the lobby and a bar/ lounge.

No Surf Beach does not have lifeguards or any other amenities, so prepare your trip accordingly. The beach allows dogs on leash before 9 am and after 6 pm between April and October. Between November and March the beach allows dogs before 9 am and after 4 pm.

No Surf Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, tidepooling, fishing, and surfing. The water near this beach is generally unsafe due to extremely strong currents. In addition, the rocky shoreline near this beach is known to inflict grave injuries. Serious accidents in the water near this beach have also been reported recently. However, despite the dangerous water conditions, surfers often go into the water near this beach as the water here offers fun surfing waves. Depending on the time of the year, you can watch many kinds of animals in the water near this beach including seals, sea lions, dolphins, and migrating whales. If you are planning to fish in the water near No Surf Beach, we recommend that you comply with the local fishing regulations. There is an interesting sea-cave that has a large hole in its roof near the southern end of the beach which is popular among intrepid visitors and photographers. However, if you are planning to visit and explore this cave, we recommend doing so in low tide as during high tide you can get trapped in this cave by the rising water.

Getting to No Surf Beach is easy - the safest access trail to the beach is located near its southern end along the intersection between Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and Hill Street, where street parking is also available. However, we recommend being careful while going down to the beach from the blufftop area above as the access trail to the beach is steep and rocky and goes along unstable bluff-sides. We recommend visiting the beach during low tide as during high tide this beach is significantly submerged and inaccessible.

There are many attractions near No Surf Beach within a 20-minute drive. The San Diego Zoo is an extremely popular zoo that is a pioneer of open-air animal exhibitions that seeks to accurately recreate the animal’s natural habitat. This zoo is one of the most visited zoos in the United States and is home to more than 12,000 animals of more than 600 species and subspecies. As an interesting fact, the first video to be posted on YouTube, named Me At The Zoo, was actually shot in this zoo. Museum of Us is an anthropological museum that offers interesting exhibitions on human history and culture. If you are looking for another attraction near No Surf Beach, the Gaslamp Quarter Historic District of San Diego has many interesting buildings dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This district also has many interesting shopping stores, nightclubs, theaters, art galleries, and restaurants.
