Located in the Shelter Island neighborhood of Point Loma, Shelter Island Shoreline Park is a mile-long grassy park with a small, unnamed, brown sand beach.
Amenities
While the beach in Shelter Island Shoreline Park does not have lifeguards, there are many other amenities on and around the beach including restrooms, a fishing pier, picnic tables, walking and biking paths, a boat launch, a children’s play area, firepits, and a gazebo. Dogs on leash are allowed on the beach before 9 am and after 6 pm between April and October. Between November and March dogs on leash are allowed here before 9 am and after 4 pm.
