Overview
Located in the city of Malibu, Puerco Beach is a narrow beach situated below Pacific Coast Highway between Puerco Creek and Corral Creek Bridge. It is rarely crowded and a south-facing beach that is mostly wet during high tides and is in front of many private homes and condos. Since all California beaches are public below the mean high tide line, Puerco Beach is a public beach. Dan Blocker Beach and Amarillo Beach are situated at the western and eastern end of the beach respectively. When the waves are small, this beach can be an excellent site for boating, fishing, hiking, paddle-boarding, scuba diving beneath kelp forests and on the reefs, snorkeling, and swimming.
