Three Arch Bay

Located on the southern side of Laguna Beach, Three Arch Bay is part of a privately gated community housing celebrities such as Lauren Conrad. Named after the three natural rock arches at the north end of the bay, this spot is accessible for community residents and their guests. This beach is a part of Mussel Cove, which has two tall bluffs on both sides making it impossible to access from surrounding beaches. As a result, this spot is one of the most secluded and private beaches in Orange County.

This beach is well-maintained by the community and is guarded by security guards during the day. This bay is known for frequent rip currents and strong waves so be careful when you are in the water, as there are no stationed lifeguards. There are numerous amenities available on the beach, including fire pits and barbeques and a clubhouse with restrooms and showers. If you are feeling adventurous, explore some of the tide pools and caves at this beach, where you can find a wide variety of fish and other marine creatures.

If you get hungry, take a four-minute drive to Monarch Bay Beach Club, a resort restaurant that serves American comfort food and offers fantastic seating in a beachfront setting. Another excellent choice is Craft House, a New American eatery with craft wines and cocktails that is a six-minute drive away from the beach. We also like Peking Dragon Restaurant, a family-style Chinese eatery offering an extensive Mandarin and Szechuan menu.
