Located along the Orange County coast in Laguna Beach, Aliso Beach is a popular family-friendly beach because of its many amenities including public restrooms, showers, concession stands, and a large parking lot.
Activities
The seasonal warm water is great for surfing, bodyboarding, skimboarding, and swimming. The long stretch of golden sand provides plenty of space for walking, running, sunbathing, and volleyball. Aliso Beach has designated bonfire and barbeque areas that are perfect for family gatherings and parties. If your children are looking for a break from the sand, there is a small playground and park located next to the shoreline.

Another option is Harvest Restauraunt, a local’s favorite for live music and stunning views of the Ben Brown Golf Course and the Aliso Canyons. If you want fine dining, check out Studio, a high-end restaurant famous for its innovative Californian French cuisine that food critics love.

We like The Ranch at Laguna Beach, a hotel and spa that’s located in the Aliso Canyons and has a public 9-hole golf course.
