The spot is protected by large bluffs on both sides, making the water relatively calm; the beach is also maintained by resort workers, ensuring its pristine beauty year-round. There are public restrooms and showers as well as lifeguards that are stationed during the day.
Activities
Due to the gentle waters and, this is the perfect location for swimmers to cool off from the Southern California heat. If you like snorkeling, you’re in luck; dolphin and seal sightings are common at this beach and there is an abundance of sea life to explore near the coves. This spot is also known for its collection of tide pools, and the hundreds of different marine species that reside there. If you’re feeling adventurous, head towards the north side of the beach and climb over to Middle Man Cove, a smaller beach with fascinating rock formations. You can also head over to the large grass lawn at the Montage Resort, where you’ll find people enjoying barbecues and picnics.
