You can also take a 10-minute walk to La Sirena Grill, a family-owned Mexican eatery that serves only all-natural and organic meat and produce. We also like Ruby’s Diner, a casual American spot that will have you reminiscing about the ’40s as you enjoy their iconic burgers and shakes by the beach.

If you need a place to stay, take a five-minute drive to Casa del Camino, a Mediterranean villa-style hotel that provides a complimentary breakfast buffet and offers amenities such as a fitness center and warm bistro. Another option is the Montage Resort, where you’ll have access to two outdoor swimming pools and a dry redwood sauna in its 30-acre facilities. If you need a more affordable option, take a five-minute drive to Laguna Brisas, a family-friendly 2-Star hotel that boasts an outdoor pool and ocean terrace.
