At Oak Street, beachgoers can destress and adventurers can roam the outdoors. As one of Laguna Beach’s most under-appreciated and serene beaches, Oak Street is easy to access.
Activities
Once you arrive, you’ll quickly find that your commute was worth it. Beachgoers bring lounge chairs to tan, hitch umbrellas for much-needed shade, and sit on the benches that overlook the beach from above to watch the turquoise waves. This is a great beach for swimming, playing beach soccer, and throwing frisbees on its pristine beige sand. Scuba divers set into the ocean to explore the Pacific Ocean’s exotic fish and marine wildlife. And surfers of all skill levels ride the beach’s exhilarating waves, which are mild by the shore and intense deeper into the ocean.

To get here, park in plentiful metered spots along Highway 1 or on Oak Street, and then walk down the beach’s newly constructed access stairway that’s located next to a small park.
