Bluebird Beach

Located near the intersection of Highway 1 and Bluebird Canyon Drive in Laguna Beach, Bluebird Beach is a popular beach for taking long strolls along the coast. The beach is often crowded with locals and tourists, as it is situated right in front of the Surf and Sand Resort. There is easy foot access on the southside of the Laguna Sands building and street parking is available all along Bluebird Canyon Drive.

Surfing is another popular activity among wave lovers, but make sure to ask the lifeguards if it is a “blackball” day. If you wish to take a break from the water, people often enjoy taking long walks along the beach as the soft sand stretches for a long distance in both directions. While taking a stroll you can catch beautiful views of Halfway Rock and on clear days you can also spot the scenic Catalina Islands. You can also enjoy your walk with your pet pooch as the beach is dog-friendly.

If you’re looking for a more boutique option, the Casa Laguna is only a short three-minute drive down the Pacific Coast Highway.
