Restaurants
If you get hungry, there are many delicious restaurants just a walking distance away. One of our favorites is the Selanne Steak Tavern, a classic American steakhouse located in a historic 1934 home on the Pacific Coast Highway. The Selanne Tavern features terrace and loft dining, as well as an impressive 2,750 wine bottle selection. We also like Mozambique, an Orange County favorite that offers South African-inspired tastes with delicious wood-fired steaks and a live music dining experience. Avila’s El Ranchito is also an excellent option for a casual Mexican-dining experience. The restaurant offers a sports-bar atmosphere with heated outdoor seating, generous portions, and classic recipes from the founder Mama Avila.
Hotels
If you’re looking for a place to stay, the Capri Laguna is located just steps away right above the beach. The Capri Laguna is a quaint beachside hotel with rooms right along the oceanside and a mile away from the famous Laguna Art Museum. If you’re searching for a more luxurious option, the Surf and Sand Resort is a 4-star resort featuring Mediterranean architecture, modern lighting, and privately furnished balconies. The La Casa Del Camino is also an excellent choice just a couple minutes walking distance from the beach. Constructed in 1929, the hotel offers Spanish-style rooms with hand-carved furnishings and the iconic Rooftop bar to provide the quintessential Southern California vacation experience.
