Located in the town of Elk, Elk Creek Beach is a private and rocky beach situated on the south side of Mendocino County in the city of Elk Grove. There is a large pyramid-shaped rock at Elk Creek Beach adjacent to the point where Elk Creek meets the North Pacific Ocean. Elk Creek Beach offers a couple of fun activities including kayaking and beach exploration. A private gated road along 8350 Shoreline Highway leads to Elk Creek Beach but is not accessible to the public. The only way to reach Elk Creek Beach is kayaking south from Greenwood State Beach.
