Tiger Shores Beach

Located a couple of miles south of the town of Jensen Beach, Tiger Shores Beach is a white-sand beach with nearby coastal vegetation. The beach is situated on an island named South Hutchinson Island in Martin County. 

Tiger Shores Beach does not have lifeguards or any other amenities except a nearby bench, so plan accordingly. Dogs on leash are allowed in Tiger Shores Beach. 

Tiger Shores Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, wildlife watching, fishing, swimming, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, bodyboarding, skimboarding, kayaking, canoeing, jet-skiing, surf-skiing, water-skiing, parasailing, and boating. The water near Tiger Shores Beach occasionally offers fun surfing waves. However, if you are planning to enter the water near Tiger Shores Beach, we recommend being careful as the water here is known to have unpredictable rip currents. In addition, the water here is also occasionally known to have high levels of microbial contamination. Depending on the time of the year, you can view many kinds of animals in the water near Tiger Shores Beach including dolphins and sea turtles. Sea turtles also use Tiger Shores Beach as a seasonal nesting spot. Tiger Shores Beach is also a great fishing spot and you can catch many kinds of fish in the water here. However, if you are planning to fish in Tiger Shores Beach, we recommend following the local fishing regulations.

Getting to Tiger Shores Beach is easy - the free parking lot for this beach is present near 1337 North East Ocean Boulevard. Once you park at this parking lot, you can take a nearby access trail which leads through a patch of vegetation to Tiger Shores Beach.
