Located near the city of Stuart, Santa Lucea Beach - also sometimes known as Santa Lucia Beach - is a five-acre beige-sand beach with some rocky portions and a few patches of flora. The rocky portions in Santa Lucea Beach are composed of limestone. 

Amenities

Santa Lucea Beach does not have lifeguards or any other amenities except boardwalks, showers, and nearby benches, so plan accordingly. Dogs on leash are allowed in Santa Lucea Beach. In addition, the beach also offers accessibility to people with disabilities. 

Activities

Santa Lucea Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, wildlife watching, fishing, swimming, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, surf-skiing, wakeboarding, bodyboarding, parasailing, and boating. If you are planning to enter the water near Santa Lucea Beach, we recommend being careful as the water here is known to have unpredictable rip currents. Depending on the time of the year, you can view many kinds of animals in the water near this beach including dolphins and sea turtles. Sea turtles also use this beach as a seasonal nesting spot between March 1 and October 31. If you are planning to fish in the water near Santa Lucea Beach, we recommend ensuring compliance with the local fishing regulations.

There are many attractions near Santa Lucea Beach. Road To Victory Military Museum offers interesting exhibitions about military history including vintage military vehicles and uniforms, World War Two-era encampments, re-enactments of World War Two battles, and weapons demonstrations. This museum seeks to pay homage to America’s valiant armed forces and highlight their endeavors. Indian Riverside Park is a waterfront recreational park that offers many amenities including a play fountain, a 780-feet long fishing pier, a boardwalk going through mangrove trees, a walking path, picnic pavilions, a children’s museum, and splendid gardens. If you are looking for another attraction near Santa Lucea Beach, Sailfish Sands Golf Course is a beautifully landscaped golf facility that has an 18-hole championship course and a reversible 9-hole course that was designed by golf architect John Sanford.
