There are many attractions near Tables Beach. Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier is an 800 feet-long pier that has interesting shops, restaurants, and bars. In addition, the pier offers excellent views of the Atlantic Ocean and occasionally offers live music performances. The pier is also a great fishing spot and you can catch many kinds of fish here. Lori Wilson Park is an oceanfront recreational park that is spread over 32 acres. This park has a beach (seasonally supervised by lifeguards), picnic areas, barbecue spots, a boardwalk, a playground, restrooms, showers, volleyball courts, drinking fountains, and biking paths. In addition, this park also has a beautiful coastal hammock forest which is a great bird-watching spot. Lori Wilson Park also has a designated grassy dog-friendly area where pet owners can have fun with their pets. If you are looking for another attraction near Tables Beach, Exploration Tower is a seven-story tower that has many informative and interactive exhibits about Cape Canaveral. In addition, the tower also has a gift shop, a cafe, and an auditorium. The tower also has an observation area from where you can watch satellite launches from the nearby Kennedy Space Center. In addition, the tower is also a great place to view fireworks.
