The beach is easy to access - the entrance to the beach area is situated near 622 Avenida Del Mar. There is a live railroad running between the beach and the park access point so be careful while accessing the beach. There is a metered parking lot situated near the beach area.
There are many attractions near the beach - the San Clemente Pier is a short walk away and is a great spot for pier fishing and also features several food stands. You can also use the nearby San Clemente Pedestrian Beach Trail (which is also called the San Clemente Coastal Trail) for biking and exploring other beaches in the region including San Clemente State Beach and the famous surfing spot T-Street Beach. San Clemente has an area nicknamed ‘The Triangle’ which is a group of late-night sports bars and a lounge around which San Clemente’s nightlife is centered and is the ideal place for a fun and exciting night. If you want to learn surfing, San Clemente Surf School offers lessons for amateurs and also organizes surfing camps for kids.
If you're looking for a restaurant, there are many great nearby options. Sonny’s Pizza and Pasta is an Italian restaurant offering a high-end dining experience and is famous for its delicious pasta and pizzas served along with great salads. A more family-friendly option is The Fuel Shack which serves great breakfast dishes including bagels, sandwiches, and waffles while also serving a selection of baked goodies ideal for kids. A modestly priced option is the Schwack Cantina which serves delectable Mexican food.

The 4-Star adult-only Hotel Joaquin is 28 minutes away by car, features fusion architecture, and has a pool, a restaurant, and a lounge.
