The water near the beach area is also ideal for a surfing or bodysurfing session as the waves here are mild yet consistent. A part of the water in the beach area during times of crowded visitation is often allotted separately for boogie boarders and swimmers to avoid crowds in the water and allow for a more relaxed surfing experience.
