Djie Court Beach(204's Beach, Buena Vista Beach, San Clemente City Beach)

There are no lifeguards or any amenities present on the beach, so plan your visit accordingly. The beach does not allow dogs.

Dije Court Beach is a popular spot for surfers and offers many other fun activities including swimming, biking, sunbathing, biking, beach-walking, beachcombing, paddle boarding, boating, kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife watching. The sandy beach area forms a surf break for the waves in the water and produces small peaky swells which are ideal for beginning surfers. However, be aware of sudden rip currents arising in the water which are dangerous for surfers and swimmers. When the water is at low tide, there is dry sand available on the beach area which can be used for a quiet sunbathing session. During low tide, you can comb the beach area for some interesting shells. You can look out in the water around the beach area for seals, sea-lions, and whales.

The beach is easy to access - the path to the beach is located near 1501 Buena Vista and passes through the active railroad (watch out for trains). Free street parking is available along Buena Vista.

If you’re looking to venture out from here, the San Clemente Pedestrian Beach Trail can be used for biking and accessing other beaches in the city of San Clemente. The beach trail offers access to Lost Winds Beach, another popular surfing beach also featuring volleyball courts and Calafia Beach, which offers access to a blufftop park. You can also use the trail to access the iconic San Clemente Pier, which offers great views of the Pacific Ocean. There are a number of attractions near the beach. If you love shopping, Avenida Del Mar features a variety of designer and branded stores, art galleries, and high-end eateries.

If you get hungry, South of Nick’s Mexican Kitchen + Bar is a Mexican fine dining restaurant offering delicious Carne Norteña, flautas, tacos and soups along with classic Mexican mojitos and margaritas. A more family friendly option is Cafe Rae, which has a hip vibe and offers delicious breakfast and lunch dishes and also features a kids menu. Another modestly priced dining option is The Habit Burger Grill which serves delicious burgers.

If you are looking for a place to stay near Dije Court Beach, there are many great nearby options. The 4-Star Surf and Sand Resort which is 22 minutes away and offers an in-house restaurant, spa, pool, and a bar and lounge. A more affordable option is the 3-Star Volare, Ascend Hotel Collection which offers well furnished rooms and features a variety of amenities including a pool, fitness center, and an in-house restaurant and bar. The 2-Star Travelodge by Wyndham San Clemente Beach is another good option.
