White Gulch Beach(Point Reyes National Seashore)

Located in the town of Inverness, White Gulch Beach is a small and narrow boat-in beach situated on the shores of Tomales Bay in the northern part of Point Reyes National Seashore. White Gulch Beach has a nice boat-in campground that does not provide drinking water and all human waste must be carried out of it.

There are a couple of fun activities at White Gulch Beach including boating and kayaking. White Gulch Beach can only be accessed by taking a boat or kayak from Nick’s Cove, Marshall Beach, or Lawson’s Landing Beach.

Schulz, creator of Peanuts comic strip, and is home to a three-and-a-half-ton sculpture depicting the evolution of Snoopy – a character in the comic, Schulz’s studio, and three rotating galleries. Another great attraction near White Gulch Beach is Elk Reserve, a national park that is an awesome destination for picnicking, camping, and watching Tule Elk, pelicans, cormorants, and seagulls.
