Overview
Located in the town of Marshall, Wall Beach is a very small and narrow boat-in beach that is a part of Point Reyes National Seashore. Wall Beach is situated on the shores of Tomales Bay on the north side of Pelican Point – an incredible vista point. Wall Beach offers a boat-in campground that does not provide drinking water and you must carry all human waste out of it.
Activities
There are a couple of fun activities at Wall Beach including kayaking, boating, and camping – you must visit here by boat or kayak to use the campground.
Parking
There are two ways to access Wall Beach – one is taking a boat or kayak from Nick’s Cove, Marshall Beach, and Lawson’s Landing Beach, and the other is driving to Tomales Point Trailhead at the end of Pierce Point Road east of McClures Beach and then walking around one mile east to the beach.

If you are looking for attractions near Wall Beach, you can drive 50 minutes to Bodega Marine Reserve, a natural and marine reserve that is spread across 362 acres and is a great vista point for taking Instagram-worthy pictures and viewing the North Pacific Ocean and Bodega Bay. The Links at Bodega Harbour is an 18-hole oceanfront golf course featuring a golf shop, gallery, restaurant, yacht club, live music, and hosts many tournaments. The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center is dedicated to the works of Charles M. Schulz, creator of the Peanuts comic strip, and is home to a three-and-a-half-ton sculpture depicting the evolution of Snoopy – a character in the comic, Schulz’s studio, and three rotating galleries. Another great attraction near Wall Beach is Elk Reserve, a national park that is an awesome destination for picnicking, camping, and watching Tule Elk, pelicans, cormorants, and seagulls.
Restaurants
If you get hungry, there are many restaurants within an 18-minute drive of Wall Beach. The European restaurant Vladimir's Czech Restaurant features rye bread, chicken paprikash, duck, pork, ribs, a bar, and live music. Saltwater Oyster Depot is a nice oyster bar-restaurant that serves seafood, mollusks, and regional wines. Another good restaurant near Wall Beach is Tap Room offering sushi, sandwiches, burgers, chips, burritos, fries, and beer in outdoor seating.
