Located in the town of Marshall, Duck Island has a small and narrow boat-in beach-campground that is a part of Point Reyes National Seashore. Duck Island is the northernmost beach on Point Reyes Peninsula and is surrounded by the waters of Tomales Bay. Duck Island offers a boat-in campground that does not provide drinking water and you must carry all human waste out of it. There are a couple of fun activities at Duck Island including kayaking and boating – you need to visit by boat or by kayak to use the boat-in campground. Please be careful while kayaking as rip currents are very strong here.
