Another option is driving six minutes to Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, an 18-hole beachfront golf course that has a driving range, golf shop, and restaurant. Pirate Shores is a kid-themed adventure park with various rides, entertainment shows, and special events, including fireworks and LEGOLAND at Christmas. Museum of Making Music is 12-minutes away highlighting, the music industry's history from 1990 through exhibitions, live performances, and educational programs. If you like shopping, Carlsbad Village has numerous antique and curio stores.
