Del Mar City Beach

Located in the city of Del Mar, Del Mar City Beach is situated between Powerhouse Park and the lagoon entrance at the San Dieguito River in the north.

Del Mar City Beach welcomes dogs on-leash from Labor Day to June 15th and is well-equipped with amenities including lifeguards, restrooms, showers, playgrounds, grass park, volleyball courts, and picnic tables.

The beach has many activities including swimming, surfing, paddle-boarding, fishing, biking, and picnicking, but be careful during high tides.

Getting to Del Mar City Beach is very easy – the beach is situated off of Coast Boulevard where you can park in the paid parking lot and also on streets. Please note that finding parking near Del Mar City Beach can be difficult as the beach gets very crowded.
