Located in the city of Carlsbad, Warm Water Jetty Beach is a half-a-mile long and narrow beach that is at the southern end of a state park named Carlsbad State Beach. Also known as Warm Waters Beach, Warm Water Jetty Beach is named after the rock jetties and the warm water flowing through them from a power plant behind the beach. Warm Water Jetty Beach is situated between the North Pacific Ocean and a large open-water lagoon called Agua Hedionda Lagoon.
