Playa Niu Blau

Located in the small town of Santa Eulalia Del Rio on the eastern part of the island of Ibiza, Niu Blau Beach is a small, narrow, and beige sand beach that is situated on the north side of the mouth of a river named Torrent Arabi.  Also known as Playa Niu Blau, Niu Blau Beach is a very popular tourist spot and is surrounded by pine and bamboo trees.  The beach runs along a promenade that has many restaurants, nightclubs, and stores.

Niu Blau Beach offers many amenities including lifeguards, showers, water sport equipment rentals, and tennis courts.

Niu Blau Beach is protected by a breakwater making it a great spot for swimming.  In addition to swimming, there are many fun activities at Niu Blau Beach including surfing, snorkeling, diving, boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, sunbathing, and beach walking.

Niu Blau Beach offers a ramp that provides disability access.

There is a wooden swing hanging from a tall tree behind the beach which is a great place to take amazing pictures.

If you are looking for attractions near Niu Blau Beach, you can drive 25 minutes to many nearby options.  Cova de Can Marca features guided tours of an ancient cave that was once used by smugglers, a waterfall light show, a café, and a souvenir shop.  Torre des Molar is located at Diseminado Diseminados Var, 163, 07815 Sant Joan de Labritja – it is a historical watchtower on Ibiza’s Benirras coastline with an upper platform offering amazing views of the islets of S'Illa Murada and S'Illa des Bosc.  The historical landmark Poblat de Balafia is located at Lugar Venda de Balafia de Dalt, 50, 07812 San Juan Bautista and is a fantastic place to click Instagram-worthy pictures and picnic or camp.  If you like hiking, you can hike on a wooden trail to Punta Moscarter Lighthouse that is located at 07810 Sant Joan de Labritja, is the tallest lighthouse in the Balearic Islands at 52 meters tall, and offers incredible views of the rocky coastline.  If you are looking for another good nearby attraction, Cova de Llevant is located at 07810 Sant Joan de Labritja and is a stalactite- and stalagmite-filled cave with beautiful views and wild asparagus vegetation.

There are many restaurants within a two-minute drive of Niu Blau Beach.  Restaurante Can Pep Salvadó is a very lively beachside restaurant that has an incredible lounge-like vibe and is well-known for its cocktails, comfort food, and sea views – it has a nice menu including tuna, monkfish, margherita pizza, che, lemon pie, chocolate fondant, and whiskey.  Nikki Beach Ibiza serves tuna tartar, cod filet, duck magret, paella, desserts, beer, wine, and champagne on a waterfront terrace with live music.  Sa Trenka Restaurant is another good restaurant – it features authentic Spanish and Mediterranean food items such as seafood paella, gazpacho, house wine, and sangria in an elegant setting with modern decoration and an open kitchen.  La Bodega Spanish Restaurant offers enchiladas, bodega cesar, tapas, tortilla, cocktails, and drinks - it has a patio seating with water and mountain views.  If you are looking for another good nearby restaurant, Restaurant Cala Martina has outdoor seating with incredible city and sea views, and its menu includes filet steaks, salmon, pasta, cheesecakes, ice creams, and wine.
