Cala Nova offers many fun activities including
sunbathing, beachcombing, wildlife watching, water-skiing, hiking, fishing, swimming,
snorkeling, parasailing, paddleboarding, scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing,
kitesurfing, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, skimboarding, jet-skiing, boating,
wildlife watching, kayaking, and canoeing.
Cala Nova is ideal for slightly less-experienced swimmers because
the water here usually has manageable waves and it is mostly shallow and
clear. The rocky southern portion of
Cala Nova is also an ideal site for snorkeling. In addition, Cala Nova is also ideal for
surfers because the water here sometimes offers fun surfing waves, particularly
during winters. If you are planning to
swim, snorkel, scuba dive, kayak, or canoe near Cala Nova, we recommend being
careful because the water here is known to have unpredictable rip currents and
dangerous waves. In addition, submerged
rocks near the beach can also cause injuries.
