Located in the southern end of the city of Treasure Island in Pinellas County, Treasure Island – also known as Treasure Island Beach is a long beach with white sand. Sand dunes are present near the beach, along with many kinds of native coastal plants - this coastal flora plays a crucial role in the local ecology by stabilizing the sand dunes.
Amenities
Although the beach does not have lifeguards, it has many other amenities including ATMs, restrooms, showers, a boardwalk, and a water slide. Dogs are allowed on Treasure Island, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset. It is important to note that the beach also offers an access path for people with disabilities.

Treasure Island offers many fun activities including fishing, biking, hiking, jet-skiing, scuba-diving, sailing, snorkeling, paddle-boarding, windsurfing, and swimming. Secret Garden is home to many unique plants - this garden has several sections including a Japanese garden, a butterfly garden, a cactus, and a succulent garden. Gulf Beach Historical Museum is a former church that has been turned into a museum that exhibits the local history and heritage of South Pinellas.
