Located in the community of Tequesta, Coral Cove Park is a 15-acre recreational park that has an unnamed long and narrow white-sand beach with some rocky parts. This beach is also known as Coral Cove Park Beach and is situated along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Coastal vegetation is also present near this beach. Parts of the beach are rocky, and these rocky portions are composed of limestone and also have interesting shapes which have been naturally carved through erosion by water. The northern part of the beach in Coral Cove Park has lifeguards. 

Coral Cove Park has many other amenities including picnic areas with grills, a playground, restrooms, showers, and canoe/kayak launching areas. 

Coral Cove Park offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, wildlife watching, fishing, picnicking, swimming, surfing, tidepooling, kitesurfing, snorkeling, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, paddle-boarding, windsurfing, jet-skiing, surf-skiing, kayaking, canoeing, water-skiing, and boating. The water near Coral Cove Park occasionally offers fun surfing waves. In addition, the water here is also popular with snorkelers, who enter the water here to explore its vibrant marine landscape and biodiversity –there is a two-acre artificial reef is present in the water which is home to a large variety of kinds of fish and marine worms. Depending on the time of the year, you can also view sea turtles around the beach in Coral Cove Park – the sea turtles use this beach as a seasonal nesting spot. 

However, if you are planning to enter the water near Coral Cove Park, we recommend being careful as it is known to have unpredictable rip currents. In addition, the presence of sharks has also been documented in the water near Coral Cove Park. It is also important to note that portions of the water near Coral Cove Park are reserved only for swimmers - surfing and fishing are prohibited within these portions. The beach in Coral Cove Park is known to have lots of shells, making it ideal for beachcombers. If you are planning to fish in the water near Coral Cove Park, please make sure that you follow the local fishing regulations. A portion of Coral Cove Park is also present along the shores of the nearby Intracoastal Waterway - you can also launch your kayaks and canoes from this portion and enjoy a fun kayaking and canoeing session in the waterway.

Getting to Coral Cove Park is easy - the park is present near 1600 South Beach Road, which is a part of County Highway 707. A free parking lot is also available near the park. 

There are many attractions near Coral Cove Park. Jonathan Dickinson State Park has interesting hiking, biking, and equestrian trails and you can also view many kinds of animals in this park including Florida scrub-jays, gopher tortoises, otters, bobcats, alligators, turtles, and raccoons. The state park also has campgrounds (that accommodate both tents and RVs), a restored 1930s homestead (built by a trapper named Trapper Nelson), the Elsa Kimbell Environmental Education and Research Center, an observation tower, playgrounds, and picnic areas.  Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum has a 108 feet tall lighthouse that was built in the 19th-century and is a part of the United States National Register of Historic Places. The museum premises also have many other interesting historical buildings including a World War Two-era radio station, the lighthouse keeper’s workshop and deck, and a Native American Seminole structure known as chickee. If you are looking for another attraction near Coral Cove Park, Loxahatchee River-Lake Worth Creek Aquatic Preserve is a preserve that offers many fun activities including fishing, water-skiing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, and wildlife watching. The preserve has freshwater and tidal marsh riparian habitats and it is home to many kinds of birds including egrets, storks, and herons.

If you get hungry, there are many great restaurants near Coral Cove Park. Jetty’s Waterfront Restaurant is known for serving amazing steaks and seafood and it also offers amazing views of the Jupiter Inlet Waterway and the Jupiter Lighthouse. Hog Snappers has an island and tiki-themed decor, along with a casual ambiance. The restaurant also serves amazing seafood, chicken wings, sushi, burgers, salads, wraps, sandwiches, steaks, pasta, and barbecued meats. If you are looking for another good and affordable restaurant near Coral Cove Park, Lighthouse Diner serves amazing burgers, seafood, sandwiches, breakfast dishes, soups, salads, Mexican dishes, poultry, and sausages.
