Historic Palm Cottage was built in 1895 and is the oldest home in Naples. Palm cottage offers guided house tours, historic district walking tours, and an archival viewing facility. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a historic botanical garden and zoological park. The zoo features roughly 70 species, though not all of them are always on exhibit. The zoo's primates are housed on islands in one of Fleischmann's lakes, and visitors can observe them from guided catamarans on the Primate Expedition Cruise. If you are looking for another attraction near Port Royal Beach and Club, Naples Depot Museum exhibits the Roaring Twenties railroading boom and shows how generations of Southwest Floridians utilized technology and transportation to conquer a large and apparently insurmountable frontier.
