The zoo features roughly 70 species of animals but sometimes not all of them are on exhibit. The zoo's primates are housed on islands in one of Fleischmann's lakes, and visitors can observe them from guided catamarans on the Primate Expedition Cruise. Cambier Park is a community park that was named after a town engineer, William Cambier. The park features a community center, five shuffleboard courts, two bocce courts, basketball courts, a tennis center, a children's playground, a softball field, and a covered pavilion. Historic Palm Cottage was built in 1895 and is the oldest home in Naples. Palm cottage offers guided house tours, historic district walking tours, and an archival viewing facility.
