Phillip Burton Beach(Phillip Burton Memorial Beach)

Located in the city of Daly City, Phillip Burton Beach is a remote beach adjacent to the private Olympic Club Golf Course in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Also known as Phillip Burton Memorial Beach, the beach was named after the politician Phillip Burton to honor his work during the early 1970s.

Phillip Burton Beach is situated between Thornton State Beach and Fort Funston Beach. Phillip Burton Beach welcomes dogs on leash and offers very few amenities including caves and trails.
