Terranea Cove beach offers a number of activities including beach walking, sunbathing, snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving, tide pooling, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, paddleboarding, kitesurfing, bodyboarding, boogie-boarding, wildlife watching, and boating. It is advisable to look out for rocks near the coastline while engaging in water sports or swimming. The clear waters near the beach offer a great opportunity for snorkeling and boogie boarding. We recommend reviewing a tide chart of the beach area before visiting since at low tide you can explore the adjacent sea cave near the beach. The sea cave has a unique topography. However, be careful as the cave surface can be slippery. Migrating whales, dolphins, seals, and sea lions are present in the waters around the beach. You can kayak along the shoreline and explore the bluff walls along the coast.
