Located in the city of Monterey, Coast Guard Pier is a 1700-feet-long pier with a small beach on its southern side. Coast Guard Pier was built in the 1930s by the Army Corps of Engineers and protects over 600 boats - and is a perfect destination for fishing. Coast Guard Pier is a dock for the 110-feet-long US Coast Guard Cutter LONG ISLAND and the Monterey Fire Boat.
