Located in the town of Inverness, South Blue Gum Beach is a half-mile-long boat-in beach on the west shore of Tomales Bay and is a part of Point Reyes National Seashore. South Blue Gum Beach offers a boat-in campground that does not provide drinking water and you must carry all human waste out of it. There are a couple of fun activities at South Blue Gum Beach including kayaking and boating. Please note that South Blue Gum Beach remains closed from March to June every year. To access South Blue Gum Beach, you will need to take a boat or kayak from Nick’s Cove, Marshall Beach, or Lawson’s Landing Beach.
