The extremely popular annual Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival celebrates pumpkins, art, wine, and community, and occurs during the first weekend of October.

The Barn is another great place that serves a variety of burgers, milkshakes, craft coffee, sandwiches, draught beer, and has a tranquil beer garden.
