Located in the southern part of the coastal city of Virginia Beach, Sandbridge North is a large beach with light brown sand. This beach is the northern part of a larger beach named Sandbridge Beach.
Amenities
Sandbridge North has lifeguards between 9:30 am to 6 pm from Labor Day to Memorial Day – most of the lifeguards at Sandbridge North are located at 209 Sandbridge Road. In addition to lifeguards, Sandbridge North also has a few other amenities including changing areas, showers, and restrooms – please note that most of these amenities are located near 2549 Sandfiddler Road. Dogs on leash are allowed on Sandbridge North before 10 am and after 6 pm between the Friday before Memorial Day and the Labor Day weekend. Dogs on leash are allowed on Sandbridge North at any time for the rest of the year.

Parking
Getting to Sandbridge North is easy – this beach is located along Sandfiddler Road and it is easily accessible from Interstate 64.
There is a paid parking lot near Sandbridge North at 2549 Sandfiddler Road and there is another paid parking lot for this beach near 209 Sandbridge Road. These lots usually charge a $5 per day fee for non-local visitors between May 1 and Labor Day.
