Located in St. Joseph Peninsula, Cape Palms Park is a recreational park that has an unnamed white-sand beach with nearby coastal vegetation. This beach is also known as Cape Palms Park Beach. This beach has a marvelous background of oceanfront houses. It is important to note that this beach had been devastated by Hurricane Michael in 2018 and is currently under the process of reconstruction.

The state park and the museum within it have interesting historical exhibitions including artifacts from the settlement of St. Joseph and a replicated convention hall which has replications of eminent statesmen who participated in drafting Florida’s early constitution including David Y. Levy and William P. Duvall. Salinas Park is a recreational park that offers many amenities including picnic areas, barbecue areas, bathrooms, and a playground.
