From this highway, you need to turn towards State Road 292A and then towards South Blue Angel Parkway (which is a part of Florida State Road 173). This road will lead you to the entrance gate for Naval Air Station Pensacola, where you need to show government-issued identification for passing through. After passing through the entrance, you need to drive along South Blue Angel Parkway around three-quarters of a mile and then turn right towards a narrow sandy road. This road will lead you to the trailhead for the Trout Point Nature Trail. This trail will lead you to the beach in Trout Point. It is important to note that you need to clearly mention at the Naval Air Station Pensacola entrance gate that you intend to visit Trout Point.
Attractions
There are many attractions near Trout Point. Perdido Key Kids Park has a playground, a pavilion, and picnic areas. The National Naval Aviation Museum has more than 4,000 historical artifacts and around 150 restored aircraft from the United States Air Force, the Coast Guard, and the United States Marine Corps. The museum also has flight simulators and a giant digital theater. If you are looking for another attraction near Trout Point, A.C. Read Golf Course is a beautifully landscaped golf facility that offers a fun golfing experience.
