Located in the city of Ormond Beach, Andy Romano Beachfront Park - also known as Andy Romano Park - is a four-acre recreational park that has a white-sand beach. Andy Romano Beachfront Park is named after renowned local resident Andy Romano, who was the former principal of Ormond Beach Middle School - Romano had also started the Ormond Beach lifeguard corps in 1949. Andy Romano Beachfront Park does not have a permanent lifeguard deployment. However, lifeguards from Volusia County’s Lifeguard Corps often patrol the beach in Andy Romano Beachfront Park.
