Oceanfront Park Beach

Located along the Palm Beach County shoreline, Oceanfront Park Beach is a beach with light-brown sand and nearby coastal vegetation. This beach is situated adjacent to a park named Oceanfront Park. 

Oceanfront Park Beach and the park near it have many amenities including lifeguards (available between 9 am and 5 pm), concession stands, picnic areas with grills, restrooms, a children’s playground, a fitness area for adults, rental facilities for beach chairs, pavilions, umbrellas, and cabanas. The beach also offers accessibility to people with disabilities. 

Oceanfront Park Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, picnicking, fishing, wildlife watching, swimming, surfing, skimboarding, kitesurfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding, kayaking, canoeing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, parasailing, and boating. If you are planning to enter the water near Oceanfront Park Beach, we recommend being careful as the water here is known to have rip currents. If you are having a disability, we recommend consulting with the lifeguards in Oceanfront Beach before going into the water here. It is also important to note that designated areas for surfers in the water near Oceanfront Park Beach are located near the northern and southern end of Oceanfront Park Beach. If you are planning to fish in the water near Oceanfront Park Beach, please make sure that you follow the local fishing regulations. Depending on the time of the year, you can view many kinds of animals in the water near Oceanfront Park Beach including dolphins and sea turtles. Sea turtles also seasonally nest in the water near Oceanfront Park Beach between March and October. 

Getting to Oceanfront Park Beach is easy - the beach access point is present near 6415 North Ocean Boulevard, where a paid parking lot is also present. However, if you want a free parking lot, you can find one near this park - this free parking lot is present a bit further north of the beach along North Ocean Boulevard (which is a part of the Florida State Road A1A). You can walk to the beach from this free parking lot. The beach is open between sunrise and 9 pm.

There are many attractions near Oceanfront Park Beach. Snook Islands Natural Area is a protected natural area present within the Lake Worth Lagoon. This natural area is spread over 118 acres and has an approximately 500-feet long boardwalk, which you can use to explore its vibrant landscape. However, this natural area is best known for offering an amazing kayaking experience. You can view many kinds of aquatic and semi-aquatic creatures including shorebirds, wading birds, manatees, sea turtles, fish, and crabs. The natural area also has a fishing pier and a floating dock. Ocean Inlet Park is a waterfront recreational park that has many amenities including canoeing/kayaking launch areas, a marina, an observation area, picnic areas, a playground, restrooms, sitting pavilions, showers, and a water sporting equipment rental facility. The waterfront park also has a beach - this beach has a wooden jetty which is an amazing fishing spot - you can catch many kinds of fish in the water around this jetty including bluefish and grunts. In addition, the jetty is also open during the night, making it an ideal spot for a quiet fishing session under the clear night sky. The jetty in Ocean Inlet Park also offers amazing Instagram-worthy views of the Atlantic Ocean. In addition, you can also occasionally view glowing bioluminescent organisms in the water around this jetty at night. If you are looking for another attraction near Oceanfront Park Beach, Schoolhouse Children’s Museum & Learning Center offers interesting children-oriented exhibits - these interactive exhibits offer a unique insight into the lives of settlers in early Florida. The museum also organizes informative educational programs.
