Princess Beach does not have lifeguards or any other amenities, so plan your trip accordingly.

Princess Beach offers several fun activities including swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, and hiking.  If you are planning to go into the water near the beach, we recommend being careful, as the water here is known to have rip currents.  If you enjoy snorkeling, the beach offers amazing opportunities to explore the underwater world.  Hikers can enjoy the nearby hiking trails, which offer unique insights into the local biodiversity.  It is an ideal spot for windsurfing due to its frequently windy weather.  If you intend to fish on this beach, visitors have to obtain fishing permits.  However, this beach is ideal for visitors seeking a more tranquil experience, as it sees fewer visitors than other beaches in Destin.  Dogs are allowed here if they are on a leash, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset.

Princess Beach does not offer an access path for people with disabilities.

Getting to Princess Beach is easy - the beach has street parking spots located near 702 Florida State Road 30 just before Destin Sign and provides easy access to the beach.  It is important to note that visitors have to get a freepermit to access this beach.

There are many attractions near Princess Beach. The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island is a waterfront family entertainment area that has a shopping arcade and many casual to fine dining restaurants.  In addition, it also hosts many interesting events throughout the year, including fireworks shows, pirate shows, open-air movies, and themed events.  Air Force Armament Museum has a gallery that displays an interesting collection of guns, bombs, missiles, 29 different types of aircraft, and related memorabilia that offer unique insight into the Air Force armaments.   In addition, visitors can enjoy a 32-minute film about the history of Eglin Air Force Base.   Rainforest Black Light Golf & Arcade is a rainforest-themed adventure park that offers many fun activities, including an indoor blacklight mini-golf course and an indoor games arcade. Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park is home to sharks, stingrays, gators, turtles, penguins, sea lions, and dolphins.  Visitors can enjoy interesting animal encounters, interactive animal feeding, and animal petting sessions.  If you are looking for another attraction near Princess Beach, Big Kahuna’s Water & Adventure Park is a family water park that features a lazy river, tall water slides, a mini-golf course, a cyclone twister, a sky coaster, and numerous rides.
