Overview
Located in the community of Cape Coral, Yacht Club Public Beach - also known as Yacht Club Community Park Public Beach and Yacht Club Beach - is a small yet popular beach with a sloping incline. This beach is situated on the shores of the Caloosahatchee River. This artificial beach is a part of a public park named Yacht Club Community Park, which was opened in 1962. The beach often suffers from erosion by river water and has to be replenished artificially by the local authorities.
Amenities
Although Yacht Club Public Beach does not have lifeguards, the beach and the area around it have many other amenities including barbecue grills, a fishing pier, two racquetball courts, a playground, picnic shelters, a pool, tennis courts, a marina, restrooms, and showers.

Rotary Park is a 97-acre recreational park which has many amenities including nature trails, ponds, walking paths, exercise stations, restrooms, an observation tower, picnic shelters with barbecue grills, a boardwalk, a dog-friendly area, and a playground. This park also has a butterfly house, gardens, and a 4,300-square foot environmental center which offers many fun programs, classes, and activities - the environmental center is also home to a wide variety of animals including snakes, turtles, and lizards. Four Freedoms Park and Recreation Center a three-and-a-quarter acre park that is set along the shores of the Bimil Bay - this park has many amenities including a grassy play area, a playground, picnic areas, and restrooms. This park also has a beach and it offers many fun programs for kids and adults. If you are looking for another attraction near Yacht Club Public Beach, The Railroad Museum of South Florida is a 20-minute drive away and it is set in a railroad station built in the 1920s - this museum has interesting railway-related antiques, a locomotive simulator, a movie theatre, gift shops, and antique model trains. The museum also offers a large miniature model railroad, which is based on the Floridian railway network and its role in the state economy during the 1950s.
