Located on the site of the old China House in Newport Beach, China Cove Beach is a small, tucked away sandy beach surrounded by houses and the William G. Kerckhoff Marine Laboratory. China Cove is often uncrowded and a great beach for those looking to relax and escape the large crowds. The entrance to the beach can be found at the intersection of Fernleaf Avenue and Ocean Boulevard in the neighborhood of Corona Del Mar. Once you arrive, you can find ample street parking along Ocean Boulevard.

The soft sandy area is perfect for sunbathing and also includes two volleyball posts, but make sure to bring your own net to enjoy a game with friends or family.
