Located within the city of Palma on the north-western coast of Ibiza, Es Portitxol is a small pebbly cove with a few portions of white sand. The cove is positioned in a sheltered inlet that is surrounded by pine-covered hills with several fishermen's huts and dry docks.

Visitors have to hike northeast for around 40 minutes on this dirt path to access the beach.

Es Portitxol means "the tiny port'' in Catalan, referring to something that is small coves or natural inlets located along the coast. This hidden cove offers incredible views of the vast ocean, especially during sunsets.

Cova de Can Marca is a natural cave formed millions of years ago by the action of water on limestone rock with a series of chambers, stalactites, and stalagmites.
