If you are looking for a hotel near Hotel Riu Santa Fe, there are many great options nearby.  The 5-Star Hotel Riu Santa Fe is an all-inclusive resort that offers many amenities including multiple restaurants, multiple swim up bars, a hot tub, multiple pools, a gym, a spa, fitness classes, a water park, a pickle ball club, kids’ clubs, and rental facilities for water sports equipment.  Other upscale Riu hotels that are nearby include the Hotel Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas and the Hotel Riu Palace Baja California.  The 4-Star Villa La Estancia Cabo San Lucas is another upscale nearby Medano Beach resort that offers many amenities including a fitness center, a spa, multiple restaurants, hot tubs, car rental facilities, a grocery store, a kids’ club, and a pool area.  Another great upscale hotel is the 4-Star Medano Hotel and Spa that offers many amenities including a gym, a cafe, a restaurant, a playground, pickleball courts, a mini-golf course, a pool, a spa, barbecue area, and a bar.  A more affordable hotel is the 3-Star Los Patios Hotel that offers many amenities including a pool, a hot tub, a restaurant, a bar, a terrace, and complimentary breakfast.  If you are looking for another good and affordable nearby hotel, the 3-Star Comfort Inn & Suites Los Cabos offers many amenities including a gym, vending machines, an exercise room, a convenience store, a sundeck, a car rental service, and free breakfast.

Although Hotel Riu Santa Fe Cabo Beach has a lifeguard tower, please note that the lifeguard posting here might not be permanent.  Although the beach does not offer any other public amenities, the Hotel Riu Santa Fe has a beach club here that offers many amenities to its guests including loaner facilities for beach chairs and beach umbrellas, and volleyball nets.

Hotel Riu Santa Fe Beach offers a lot of fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, fishing, volleyball, swimming, boating, paddleboarding, jet-skiing, surf-skiing, water-skiing, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife watching. 

If you are planning to swim, surf, or paddleboard here, we recommend being careful because the water here can have unpredictable rip currents and dangerous waves.  In addition, jellyfish also live in the water here in summers and these animals can inflict a painful sting.

Hotel Riu Santa Fe Beach does not offer wheelchair access to visitors with disabilities.

Getting to Hotel Riu Santa Fe Beach is easy – this beach and the Hotel Riu Santa Fe are easily accessible from Mexican Federal Highway 1 – also called Carretera Transpeninsular – through a road named Camino Viejo a San Jose. 

There is a free parking lot here for the guests of Hotel Riu Santa Fe.

Please note that usually only guests of the Hotel Riu Santa Fe are allowed at the beach.  You can check the Riu Santa Fe Hotel map for the hotel’s access to Hotel Riu Santa Fe Beach. 

We recommend visiting this beach early during Spring Break (that occurs between late March and early April) because it can sometimes get crowded during this time.

If you like taking pictures with beautiful views, Hotel Riu Santa Fe Beach offers amazing Instagram-worthy views of the Sea of Cortez and the Cabo San Lucas shoreline.

There are many attractions near Hotel Riu Santa Fe Beach.  Cabo Del Sol is a resort community that offers two golf courses that are designed by Jack Niklaus and Tom Weiskopf.  In addition, it also has interesting luxury shopping stores and restaurants.  If you like golf, Cabo San Lucas Country Club has an 18-hole golf course that offers a fun golfing experience, along with amazing views of the Cabo San Lucas shoreline.  The Glass Factory Cabo is a glass-making workshop that offers a unique insight into the creation of glass objects.  You can know more about this workshop through guided tours and you can also purchase glass objects from here.  Plaza Amelia Wilkes is a town plaza that is named after a local teacher and community leader named Maria Amelia Wilkes Cesena – this plaza has a lively ambiance and it offers beautiful gazebo, gardens, and public artworks, along with great food options and shopping stores.  This plaza also hosts a fun weekly event named “Viva La Plaza !”  If you are looking for another attraction near the beach, The Statue of The Fisherman is a beautiful statue that depicts a local fisherman – this statue is a tribute to the city’s history as a fishing village and it offers excellent photos.  In addition, there are many interesting shops near the statue.
