Located in the Los Cabos Tourist Corridor, Hacienda Beach – also called Hacienda Beach Club – is a beach area with light brown sand. This private beach is managed by a private upscale hotel named the Hacienda Beach Club & Residences. In addition, this beach is also a part of a larger beach area named Medano Beach.
Amenities
Although Hacienda Beach does not offer lifeguards or any other public amenities, Hacienda Beach Club & Residences offers sunbeds, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas for its guests, along with watersports equipment rentals. In addition, hotel guests can also use the restrooms, sitting areas, and walking paths within the resort’s premises.
Activities
Hacienda Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, swimming, paddleboarding, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, parasailing, jet-skiing, wakeboarding, surf-skiing, water-skiing, volleyball, boogie boarding, bodysurfing, kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife watching. Although the water here usually has strong waves, strong swimmers occasionally swim near the beach. If you are planning to swim, surf, paddleboard, or kite surf here, we recommend being careful because the water here is known to have unpredictable rip currents and dangerous waves. In addition, jellyfish can also be found here during summers, and these animals can inflict painful stings.
If you want to explore another nearby beach, you can visit a beach named Playa El Farito that is one of Cabo San Lucas’ swimmable beaches – it also offers other fun activities including kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing.

Getting to Hacienda Beach is easy – this beach – along with the Hacienda Beach Club & Residences – is located along a road named Calle Paseo de La Marina.
This beach is a walking distance from the Cabo San Lucas Marina and it also has easy access from two Mexican national highways including Carretera Federal 1 and Carretera Federal 19. There is a free public parking lot near the beach, along with a reserved parking lot for the guests of the Hacienda Beach Club & Residences.
Please note Hacienda Beach is a private beach and you need to be a guest of the Hacienda Beach Club & Residences to access it.

There are many attractions near Hacienda Beach in Cabo San Lucas. The Arch of Cabo San Lucas – also called “El Arco” in Spanish – is a 200 feet-tall rock arch that is more than 100 million years old. This arch is a popular local landmark and the only way to visit this arch is by boat – you can also see seals in the water around this arch, and you can also see other interesting rock formations nearby including Pelican Rock and Neptune’s Finger. If you are looking for another attraction near the beach, Pabellon Cultural de la Republica is an event space that hosts many fun events including movie screenings, theater productions, musical performances, and local school Christmas pageants.
