Waiehu Beach Park is present near the northern end of Lower Waiehu Beach Road, along with free street parking spaces. A parking lot is also present near the northern end of the park. We recommend wearing appropriate footwear while visiting Waiehu Beach Park, as the sand here is also known to have pieces of glass and driftwood.

There are many attractions near Waiehu Beach Park. Waiehu Golf Course (also called Waiehu Municipal Golf Course) is an oceanfront 18-hole golf facility that offers a fun and challenging experience and it also hosts many local golf leagues throughout the year. Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is spread over seven acres and primarily exhibit and conserve Native Hawaiian plant varieties from the Maui Nui region (which consists of the islands of Kahoolawe, Lanai, Molokai, and Maui) – the gardens also have many plant species that were introduced by Polynesian settlers including 40 sugarcane species, 15 sweet potato varieties, and 20 varieties of taro. The gardens also have a greenhouse, a shade house, picnic tables, and playgrounds - the gardens’ premises also host many interesting events including docent-led tours and workshops. If you are looking for another attraction near Waiehu Beach Park, Maui Arts & Cultural Center is a performing arts complex that hosts many Hawaiian cultural programs and musical, theater, and dance performances, along with many interesting movie screenings, and local and international artistic exhibitions. The complex also offers arts-related classes.
