Old Kona Airport Beach Park is surrounded by coconut palm trees, mesquite trees, ironwood, lava rocks, tide pools, and a few small water ponds. The beach here is a well-known destination for fishing and watching green sea turtles – and surfing and bodyboarding during winter.
