Located in the community of Ruskin in Hillsborough County, Bahia Beach is a small white sand beach.  The beach is part of the Bahia Beach Nature Reserve along the shores of Tampa Bay and has a beautiful background of a marina, shops, a few hotels, a restaurant, and a nearby park.

Bahia Beach does not have a lifeguard but offers several other amenities, including volleyball courts, a restaurant, beach equipment rental facilities, boat rental facilities, a fishing pier, and a paved path.

Bahia Beach is a family-friendly beach that offers many fun activities, including swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, jet skiing, boating, sailing, snorkeling, hiking, volleyball, and fishing.  If you are planning to go in the water, swimming is allowed, but we recommend being careful as water is known to have unpredictable rip currents.  The water near the beach is shallow, which is ideal for kayaks and small boats – and is an ideal spot for windsurfing due to its frequently windy weather.  Depending on the time of the year, visitors can spot dolphins, manatees, and coastal birds.  In addition, the beach is an ideal fishing spot where you can catch a wide array of fish, including tarpon, snook, redfish, trout, cobia, snapper, grouper, kingfish, shark, and mackerel.  In addition, visitors can also book dolphin cruises, deep-sea fishing tours, and other adventure tours.  Dogs are welcome on the beach if they are on a leash, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset.

Bahia Beach does not offer an access path for people with disabilities.

Getting to Bahia Beach is easy - the beach has a large paid parking lot located at 462 Bahia Del Sol Drive, which provides easy access to the beach.

Bahia Beach attracts a large influx of visitors throughout the year. It is also a perfect place to watch the sunset over Tampa Bay.
