Located in the community of Pensacola Beach, Quietwater Beach - also known as QuietWater Beach, Mom’s Beach, and Quiet Water Beach - is a narrow white sand beach. This beach is situated along the shores of the Santa Rosa Sound on the northern portion of the Santa Rosa Island. The beach spans between the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk – also known as the Portofino Boardwalk and the Quietwater Beach Boardwalk – and the Pensacola Beach Bridge toll booth. Quietwater Beach has multiple piers. This beach is named Quietwater Beach apparently due to the calm or "quiet" water present near it, as compared to the rougher water found near other beaches of Pensacola Beach. The area near this beach also has an amphitheater, along with a sculpture of a seashell that is also known as "The Shell."
