Hermans Bay Beach

Located in the community of Jensen Beach, Herman’s Bay Beach is a small beach with beige sand. Coastal vegetation and sand dunes are present near the beach - this vegetation plays a crucial role in the local ecology by stabilizing the dunes. 

Herman’s Bay Beach has many amenities including lifeguards, showers, restrooms, barbeque facilities, picnic tables, and three covered pavilions. Dogs are allowed on Herman’s Bay Beach if they are on a leash, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset. 

Herman’s Bay Beach offers many fun activities including fishing, hiking, surfing, jet-skiing, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, scuba diving, and snorkelling. In addition, this beach is ideal for windsurfing due to its frequently windy weather. If you are planning to go in the water near the beach, we recommend being careful as the water here is known to have rip currents. 

Getting to Herman’s Bay Beach is easy - the beach is present at 7880 South Ocean Drive on Florida State Highway A1A. A Paid parking lot is available near the beach and once you park here, you can use a nearby stairway to access the beach.
